Size Guide for Dog Collars

Please make sure that you measure your dog's neck before purchasing to avoid any disappointment if the collar does not fit - we do not accept returns due to wrong size as each one is handmade to order.

COLLAR SIZES:
  • XS (16mm wide) - fits necks 18 - 27cm (7 - 10,5")
  • S (16mm wide) - fits necks 25 - 35cm (10 - 14")
  • M (20mm wide) - fits necks 32 - 44cm (12,5 - 17,5")
  • L (25mm wide) - fits necks 40 - 53cm (16 - 21")
  • XL (25mm wide) - fits necks 49 – 63cm (19,5 - 25")


Please measure your dog’s neck (and mention it in your order) to be sure the collar is the right size for your dog. The collar should fit comfortably, make sure you can pass TWO FINGERS between the collar and the neck. PLEASE NOTE: All our collars are handmade and therefore no two collars are identical. Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the photos. Some patterns may be suitable only for larger collars.

This is Lexie's second collar in this fabric as it is perfect for a Scottie who likes to be noticed. Her original, now 2-3 years old had started to fade so we were very pleased to see Vera still had the fabric in stock. A quick note to her assured us that she had enough to make another collar and, this time, a matching lead too. Lovely prompt service from Vera, and the same high quality as always. Lexie now has 6 different collar/ lead sets from Vera!!

This is our second Hippytails collar for our 1 year old Scottie. We wanted to get her a bight colour for the summer and this just shouted 'buy me' with the motif. Lexie enjoys the attention she gets wearing the bandana and thanks to the colour people now seem to realise she's a girl! The collar is as well made as her first one, excellent quality and service from Vera.
